Bigham Brothers Paratill® Subsoiler

The Paratill® leg design reaches the compacted and hardpan areas to create a hospitable environment for the root system of your crop, while leaving the soil surface virtually undisturbed and basic soil structure intact.

Among the Standard Features are:

  • Heavy duty diamond mast frame has 4 x 7 x 3/8" tube on the front bar. The same frame can be used for overall loosening or zone loosening for 40" rows with no additional parts required. Heavy Category III Wide 4" Drop Hitch is standard on all models.
  • Spring Loaded Swivel Coulter with 20" Duraflute Blade has up to 900 pounds of residue slicing pressure.
  • Each Leg is protected with a shear bolt to prevent collision damage. Lower Leg is protected against wear by six high quality replaceable wear surface parts. Adjustable Shatter Plate on the rear of each leg will control lifting force for desired fracturing in different soils.
  • Screw Jack Gauge Wheels and 1" x 3" shanks with clamps (bedding tools on the back bar) may be included with whole goods selections.

Optional Features:

The Paratill® comes in several standard configurations, in pull-type and three-point hitch models, with rigid and folding frames. Options can be added to the Paratill® to accomplish other functions, including chemical and/or fertilizer application and seed bed preparation.
